Simple cards with Colour & Contour (Color & Contour) stamps

Coffee and Card samples

It has been fantastic to be back with our in-person Coffee and Cards since mid June, and great to share our love of card making with each other. It has also been great to have some new people join us at coffee and card, at each of our two locations.

Let me share our coffee and card designs first.

Coffee and Card designs are based on #simplestamping projects, usually featuring stamps, ink and paper - staple products from Stampin' Up! I will often ue Note Cards and envelopes, as that way I can cater for different quantitie of attendees - just by having a spare pack in my bag.

This week (19th July onwards)  we are featuring a new stamp set called Colour and Contour. It has some stunning matching dies, but the stamps work really well in their own right.

For these cards, we used either the daisy style stamp or the more formal upright stamp as the main feature of the card. All of the sentiments you can see are from the same stamp set. They include:

  • You're Absolutely Amazing
  • Thank you for everything
  • Here for you now.....
  • ..... and in better days ahead
  • So very happy for you

Here is a graphic of the stamp set.  You can see the outline images and the flower infills too. I LOVE the 'dots' or 'spatters' - very useful for a little covering up when needed. The images are quite stylised, which I like, as you can colour them in manually, or use the flower infill stamps if you prefer. Click on the image to see it in my online shop.

I always like to stamp out each stamp when I receive a new stamp set, as it is amazing how different it can look when you stamp it - it gives you the opportunity to see how the stamps work together, and also spot those useful 'tiny' stamps we often miss.

Here is my stamped version - I like to keep it in the back sleeve of the stamp case.

If you would like to see how these cards were made, hop over to my You Tube channel and the link will take you straight to the video.  If you like my style, please feel free to Subscribe and set notifications on for my future videos. I typically upload 4 videos per week. You can also catch me Monday through to Thursday on Facebook.

Thank you SO much for reading this blog post, I hope it makes you smile.
