Well, here is a last little peek into my holiday photos as promised.
Whilst staying with my brother and his wife in the South of France, I was treated to a fabulous meal at a wonderful hotel/restaurant called the 'Eden Roc'. Here is the view looking back at the hotel building whilst walking down to the sea view restaurant. As usual, my photographic skills do not do it justice! The photo only shows part of the complete building.
The restaurant has an unrivalled view over the Cap d'Antibes; and the service and food was amazing.
Here is one of the waiters serving the food and cooking it at the table .. you can just see the view behind of the coast. Fabulous to see the sun go down whilst enjoying a 5* French menu and a matching 5* service.
Inside of the restaurant building there are these amazing murals. They are painted to go around the walls as you may see from the photo on the right. The chairs and table on the left photo are real... everything else is painted!
So that was the end of my lovely holiday in France. I did take a little token present with me to France to give to Dianne and Graham by way of a thank you. I purchased this lovely little handmade fabric bag from the location that I run my classes from - and the fabric featured a map of Paris. Inside I added some English Bone China Mugs and some bags of fudge. I wrapped the whole present up and used our Chalk Talk stamp set to finish - along with some matching ribbon. I chose Coastal Cabana as the ink colour to match the colour of the bag, with some highlighting in Bermuda Bay ink. The sentiment says "Just a little something for a very special Someone". Very apt indeed.
