Projects for Card Classes

Good Evening to you all.

In our household we are starting on the marathon preparation for getting back to school this week - finding the school uniforms and games kits that have worked their way around the house over the holidays. Plus a check on the homework status, and a gradual return to early nights and early mornings!

Whilst all that is going on, I have been busy with my card classes both in Stony Stratford and Brackley.

My next class in Stony Stratford features this cute card, the idea for which came from Mary Fish, a link to her BLOG can be found HERE. She has some stunning projects and I love her clean style.

I changed the card slightly by punching out a circle of designer paper instead of the rectangle, but still managed some paper piercing, and a slightly different sentiment layout. I wanted the sentiment to match the circle pattern of the card, so I used the 'For You' sentiment from the Chalk Talk stamp set and punched it out with my circle punch.

A white punched out butterfly under the Real Red butterfly just gives it a little lift - plus the adhesive Gems to give it some bling.

Below is a close up of the Paper Piercing and the butterfly.

I have also added a photograph of the same card in 4 different colourways - I wonder which is your favourite? Please do add a comment and let me know. To see my full list of current card classes please visit my Card Class PAGE.

I have a few spaces left on this class at Stony Stratford - so shout me if you would like to join us. Until my next posting, Thank you.
