Layered cards with the Scalloped Contours dies and co-ordinating stamps.

I love these Scallop Contour Dies

Join me as I use the fantastic Stampin' Up! layering dies from the Color and Contour bundle. I have used the fabulous Fresh Freesia ink and matching papers for these quick cards. I added some of the matching ribbon as a finishing touch to each of the cards. Here they are:

In the die set there are 2 dies that cut out the 2 floral designs from the stamp set - the rest are layering dies and that lovely edge scallop die you can see on the card in the right hnd photograph.

These two cards are really simple to make. I stamped the floral images in Early Espresso ink and just used my Fresh Freesia Blends alcohol marker pen to fill in the flowers, and the Granny Apple Green pen for a little colour for the leaves. I then die cut the two images using the matching die.

Instructions:

Layered card on the left:

Using 3 different dies, I cut out the base layer from the matching designer paper, then I used Basic White for the next layer down, and then cut the smallest layer shown from Fresh Freesia card, which I then put through an embossing folder to create some interest. Although you can't see this in detail on my photo, it is a stunning folder and is just £7. Here it is in more detail:

I wrapped the ribbon around the top 2 layers, before tying  it into a bow and attaching the 2 layers with dimensionals to the bottom layer, and then onto a Basic White card.

Here is that card in a little more detail:

The second card was made in a similar way to our card from the previous live video, but I used 2 layers of card/paper which I added the scalloped edge to. I then layered that onto a Fresh Freesia card to which I had added the spotty image from the stamp set, stamped again in Fresh Freesia. I added the sentiment onto the Basic White layer, stamped in Early Espresso.

Here is that card in more detail too:
