How to make a man's Suit and Tie card

Hi and welcome back. Today I am sharing another card in my series from this week - and this is a Suit and Tie card using the Well Dressed Suite fron Stampin' Up!

You may have already seen my earlier post HERE which featured just the tie die shape, combined with our Rainbow Glimmer paper.

Here is today's finished card design:

There are so many different card designs you can make with this die set. Although it doesn't show that well in my photograph, the shirt and collar are cut from Seaside Spray card, and I used our Tasteful Texture embossing folder to add some fabric texture.

The lovely pin stripe and the floral paper is from the matching paper pack. All of the designs in this pack have been scaled to match the size of the dies and stamps. They were even based on real suit and shirt materials, and are designed to evoke memories of traditional fathers suits, shirts and ties.

The handkerchief you can see poking out of the pocket was made with the collar die, simply cut into two and tucked in behind the pocket.

I used Dimensionals to lift the collar, the suit lapels and the pocket.

You can see the full video of how I made this card by visiting my You Tube channel. Most of my Facebook LIVE videos are uploaded to my channel, do subscribe and you won't miss out!

Here are a few more images from last weeks sessions. The blue and green designs are supposed to give the look of a shirt and jumper card. The green striped paper is from one of our Sale-a-Bration papers. Find out how you get these for FREE.
