Hard to believe we are now in September, which means the launch of our new Autumn/Winter catalogue. Summer has been manic for me, so I apologise for the lack of regular posting during this time. I will endeavour to catch up in the next 2 weeks.
However, I would love to share with you now our coffee and card samples this week. I have decided to work backwards, as I still have loads to share, I just hope that doesn't confuse anyone too much.
Wishing you Well
A fantastic, all round stamp set from Stampin' Up!, and one which I spotted as soon as I saw the catalogue. I knew it would be popular - a great "stamps, ink and paper" set, easy to use, great for beginners and experienced stampers alike.
Here are 2 cards I made on Monday:
The clever stamp design means that the bouquet and the wreath you can see above are just stamped once. The shading is all done for you by the stamp. I used Mossy Meadow ink on the left hand card, and Old Olive on the right. The seasons greetings stamp on the left is included in the stamp set. Just a friendly hello comes from Another Wonderful Year - a fantastic sentiment set from the annual catalogue.
Whilst stamping, I decided that Autumn colours would look nice with this set, so I made a card from the same design (thanks to the Stamparatus which made it so easy), but using Early Espresso and Crushed Curry inks. I LOVE the final result. That bow looks so realistic at a glance until you look closer and realise it is stamped, and not real ribbon.
All of the above cards were stamped directly onto our Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes. To take a better look at the stamp set, I have added the details here:
SENTIMENTS
The four sentiments which are included in the set are:
- Seasons Greetings
- Just a note
- Wishing you well
- Sending you our thoughts and prayers
Just a note is a favourite sentiment of mine, as you can use it for all types of occasions, thank you cards, thinking of you and even just a note of course!
Below is a photo taken from the new catalogue, showing the bows which have been used as a background stamp, as well as the addition of that sweet gold thread.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing this stamp set in use, there are more samples on my Facebook page, which you can go to directly here.
