Simple, but elegant cards

I decided to go for simple, but elegant for #coffeeandcards this week.

I am using 2 stamp sets - Flourishing Phrases which has 18 stamps, and Big on Birthdays which has 12 stamps in the set.

Here are my card designs.

The images and sentiments are inked up and stamped with Basic Grey Archival ink, then we have used the Aquapainters and inks to colour in the fine detail. The stamp on the left is from the Big on Birthdays set, whilst the thank you card features text and images from Flourishing Phrases.

I will post some photos of the finished cards after our session tomorrow (Wednesday 19th April 2017). Both of these stamp sets are currently available to order, and are carrying through to the new catalogue.
