Waterfall Cards - a new design/technique

Hello. Yesterday I decided to plan out this months card classes, and one of my lovely customers Betty suggested that I do a class that features Waterfall Cards. Now for some reason I have always stayed clear of Waterfall cards - I have no idea why - perhaps I just thought they were too tricky (for me, not my class ladies).

Anyway, I love a challenge, so I hopped over to our demonstrator website and found a link to the waterfall card design. I had to watch the video a few times, and in slow motion to work out exactly how the card went together and how the waterfall mechanism worked.
I prepared my first sample (the floral one) and it worked really well.

The second one was even easier and quicker - I was so pleased.

As you pull on the ribbon at the bottom of the card, the 'waterfall' cascades the different stamped images down the card. It still fits a standard A6 card envelope too!

If you would like to join us at class, you can pre-book for Brackley by clicking on the link below. For Stony Stratford Classes please message me to book.
