Hi and welcome to my Blog posting, if you have arrived from ERNA,
what a fantastic project she posted.
Today's project is a card and matching wrapped chocolate. The ladies that attend my local classes all enjoy a wrapped chocolate as part of their treat.
Wondering how I made the little roses on the right hand side? - these are created using our Crisp Cantaloupe Stretch Ruffle trim - I wound the ribbon round my finger, and then added some glue to the bottom. For extra depth, I used a sponge and the Crisp Cantaloupe Ink to ink the edges of the ribbon.
The leaves are punched from Pistachio Pudding card using the leaves from the highly versatile Owl Builder Punch.
The cute little banner you see on the top left hand side of the card is created using the Sale-A-Bration banner punch which you can get for FREE with a qualifying spend between 28th January and 31st March I punched out the two shades of card - Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango, sponged some Crisp Cantaloupe ink around the edges for definition, and I then put one of the banners through our Decorative Dots Embossing Folder -
another FREE Sale-A-Bration item.
The sentiment is from Simply Celebrate - a new stamp which appears in our Spring/Summer Occasional Catalogue which also comes out 28th January - watch out for the next BLOG HOP which will feature all brand new products. Linen thread wrapped around and tied in a bow finishes off the project.

ReplyDeleteThank you Inge. xx
DeleteLove your card, especially the roses. Another item on the "to-do-list" added ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Xandra. I used a glue gun for speed in making the flowers. You could also use a double sided sticky sheet too.
DeleteThe roses are really lovely. Great looking project.
ReplyDeleteEveline
Ahhh, thank you so much Eveline.
DeleteGorgeous card Jenny, love the vibrant colours. Love how you've made those gorgeous flowers.
ReplyDeleteKat x
Thank you Kat. I made the flowers as I thought the card needed something 'extra'. I had already chosen the ribbon I wanted to use; so it was an easy progression after that.
DeleteLucky ladies in your class to have chocolats while stamping :o)
ReplyDeleteI too like your card a lot, great colours.
Thank you Carla. x
DeleteOh wow, I love the flowers !
