If you have followed me for any length of time, you will know that I love stamping floral designs, and the True Beauty stamp set from Stampin' Up! fits the bill perfectly!
I have dedicated this week to this stamp set, starting with some simple stamped cards on Monday.
The stamp set is a (R) Distinctive set, which means that all of the shading is actually built into the stamp itself. It saves you a lot of time and effort, as a single ink colour can create a great effect. In the cards above, I used Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo ink for the flowers, and Granny Apple Green for the foliage.
I focused on this set all week, and you can find all the videos via YouTUBE.
Our second crafting session was to make a card and matching bookmark, and I was really pleased with the results. To achieve this, you stamp half an A5 Basic White card in a band approcimately 5" wide along the centre line and then cut up to create a card base and a bookmark - or even two! Full details are in the video. These are also the designs for our weekly coffee and card making sessions.
I couldn't miss showing you the matching dies, so I used them for this next card design. The trellis you can see is fantastic, and so you can expect to see plenty more ideas using these for non floral cards.
The flowers in this card were taken fron the stunning Awash in Beauty designer (patterned) papers. Two of the 12 sheets feature images that directly match the stamps and dies, so I used the dies to cut these out from the papers. Look out for more samples using these very soon.
For our final crafting session this week, I used the trellis design and cut it up, layering it onto one of our Pool Party Cards and Envelopes. This pack of envelopes is available FREE with a £45+ purchase from my online shop during July and August. They are not available to purchase separately. This is part of our Sale-a-Bration offer. Click on any link at the bottom of this post to see details on my online shop. Buy the bundle and get the cards and envelopes FREE.
For this delicate card, which I think would make a great wedding card or wedding invitation, I stamped and die cut the floral images. I added the Thank You sentiment at the end, along with some irridescent gems.
I hope you like the cards we have made this week. If you would like to order any of the main items used, or find out more details, you can use the links below.
