New at SU July Blog Hop - New In Colours
Welcome to our NEW AT SU! July Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are 'hopping' with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you.
Today we are showcasing the New 2020-2022 In Colours.
I wanted to use the new In Colours with the Posted for You Stamp set, which has a matching Postage Stamp punch. It can be purchased as a bundle for 10% discount, and at just £29.50 (UK) it's a great place to start your papercraft journey. It's a great way of making stamped images look like postage stamps. I teamed the images up with the Flowers for Every Season Memories and More card pack - a pack of 10 cards and matching envelopes. Great for quick card making.
Here is my first card - I stamped 2 of the 3 stamp designs in Early Espresso ink on Whisper White card and coloured them in with Bashful Blue and Old Olive Blends pens. I punched them out with the postage stamp punch and positioned them in the central panel of the card, and added the postmark stamp in Early Espresso. I layered them onto the pre-printed Misty Moonlight card base.
I then decided that the stamps should be closer together for a better effect, so this next card was created with the Bumblebee card base.
And finally of course, I had to add the lovely bright Magenta Madness into the mix!
For this card, I arranged the stamped images into a portrait format.
