This week sees a challenge for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the UK, to raise awareness and support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). If you have not come across the organisation before, they are houses which allow parents and families of children in hospital to live locally and support them for the duration of their children's stay in hospital.
We are lucky enough to have a local house, based in Oxford, and two of my own team members have personally been involved in staying there.
So what are we doing?
Our aim is to make as many Christmas Cards as possible on Saturday 3 December at the Hummingbirds Bistro, Market Courtyard, Brackley (near the Town Hall). A team of us will be there between 11am-3pm creating cards, all of which will then be given to the local house for the families to send out at Christmas (it's one less thing for them to worry about).
We are also raising funds for them by way of card donations, a raffle and sales of the RMHC stamp set - of which Stampin' Up! donate £2 per set, and I will be donating an extra £1 for all sets sold at the event.

So how can you help?
- Come along and cheer us on at the Hummingbirds Bistro, between 11-3pm 3 December
- Help make a few cards whilst you are there
- Donate some of your own handmade Christmas cards
- Make a financial donation
- Buy some raffle tickets
