As I am so busy with my business and my growing team, I have so little time these days to make commissioned cards for anyone. I do find it very hard to turn this type of business down, after all this was how my business started in the first place, but sometimes the card request calls me.... and this was one such request.
A good friend of the family, Liz asked me if I could make a card for a blind friend of hers, Sally, who is celebrating her 80th birthday in March.
This was what I came up with, using our Glimmer card for great texture, the Large Number Framelits, the Little Letters and the Botanicals Framelits. I was really pleased with result.
I added more texture using the Dots Embossing Folder on the butterfly pink layer (above) and made a custom embossed envelope with the Envelope Punch Board and butterflies embossing folder (below).
I hope that Sally likes her card, and wish her a very Happy 80th Birthday.
