The title of this post is actually the name of a brand new stamp set called Amazing Birthday! I had to do some birthday cards for orders last week, so I opted to use a new set which could be used for both masculine and feminine birthdays.

The title of this post is actually the name of a brand new stamp set called Amazing Birthday! I had to do some birthday cards for orders last week, so I opted to use a new set which could be used for both masculine and feminine birthdays.
Here is one of the finished cards which was for one of my nephews. I used our Stampin' Write Marker pens to directly ink the stamp in different colours: Lost Lagoon, Real Red and Old Olive. The background paper is from a small paper stack (£6.25 for 48 sheets) called Moonlight.
This stamp set features 7 stamps as you can see below - 3 circular ones which
you can easily punch out and layer with our circular punches, plus a
fantastic striped banner and the Happy Happy Happy.... message which looks
rather like old 'Dymo' tape in design. I used this for the inner of the
card. Two of our lovely Candy Dots finish off the main design.
Here is the inside of the card |
My final card is the same basic card, but with a feminine twist by choice of colours, background paper and the addition of some matching ribbon.
Thank you for joining me.

ReplyDeleteHi Hetty. Thanks for your comment. I used our Stamp' N Write marker pens to ink up the stamp, as these are pens and can be used to highlight different parts of the stamp in different colours, this method can also be used for omitting any parts of the stamp you don't want.
