I am just quickly sharing something with you that I am working on today.
This evening I am running a card class at a local club, so I thought I would make some treats for each of the guests coming along to the class. It was also an opportunity to try out (1) a new punch, (2) a new paper stack and (3) go shopping for chocolate.
Here are some of the ones I have finished so far, each little pocket contains an Italian Gianduiotti chocolate.
Below is a close up of two of the finished pockets. I used the new Tab punch at the top and bottom of a 2" wide strip of paper, scored lenthwise at 1.75" and 2.5" and threaded some ribbon through after adding the chocolate with a glue dot.
I went shopping on Sunday - deliberately looking for suitable chocolates -
I wonder how many other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators do the same :)
I have a feeling I am not alone.
The papers are from a fantastic Paper Stack available from our new Seasonal catalogue which starts 28th January. Contact me if you would like one posted to you. This paper stack is just £6.25 for 48 sheets of double sided papers, perfect for this type of project, or just for cards. I managed to get 3 pockets per sheet from this paper. I have 18 to make in total, and luckily the pack of chocolates I bought have 18 in the pack - so no testing for me then. The sweet sentiment is from A Round Array.
If you would like more information on how to make one of these little gift pockets, just leave me a message or email me on jenny@jeminicrafts.co.uk
