Hello there
Every so often, do you get a 'Eureka' moment? Maybe you have worked out how to do something you have been pondering over for ages? Well, I had one of those moments this week.
I can't really remember how it all came about, other than I had an offcut of card left over, and it had a score down the centre. It was only about 3" x 2" when folded, so I thought I would turn it into a little card/tag as follows:
The little image is from a new stamp set called 'Wetlands'. I was also experimenting with this after I was given a fabulous swap by Nicky Dexter at our training recently. See posting HERE. Details of her swap card can be found HERE
After I did that and I was admiring the little card and working out which lovely customer would receive it, I had that EUREKA moment - it would make a cute business card holder. With all customer orders I send alittle thank you card, and I thought this would be perfect to include a thank you and my card. So I set to and had a 'play' with my Stampin' Up ! products and my Sizzix (R) Big Shot and sure enough, here is the finished sample:
This afternoon, I extended that further by doing a similar design, but this time for a store card, or in my case a National Book Token.
I hope you like my project - especially as it was one of those that came about by pure accident.
I have written some brief instructions, so if you are interested; please leave me a comment here with an email address and I will forward them to you in PDF format.
