NEW Easy Christmas Card Making Kit

Perfect for beginner crafters

I love our kits collection from Stampin' Up! - it's regularly updated with new boxes, and whilst the main focus is on cards and card making, there are also journal and frame kits too.

This new Cozy and Bright Christmas Card kit is no exception, making 12 Christmas cards and perfect for beginners crafters or when you want to make some quick cards.

The contents include everything you need to make the cards, and includes cards, envelopes, a stamp set, ink pad (1"), block and embellishments.
It also comes in a sturdy box to keep your cards in, or to gift to someone with the made up cards ready.

Even when you have finished the cards, you will have some die cuts left over, plus the ink pad, stamps and block. Here is the stamp set:

To see the kit in more detail, or to order online click on any of the photos/graphics above.  This kit is ONLY available whilst stocks last.

I hope you like my choice - check out more kits in our collection.

It's time for a CARD-AGAIN - love this fun stamp set

Fun this week with the Forever Friendship stamp set

This fun stamp set from Stampin' Up! features 4 main images - a cardigan, typewriter, set of pot plants and a banner/flag. To match these images, there are 4 fun sentiments, plus a Happy Birthday.

My favourite has to the one that works with the cardigan image - Time for a Card-Again!  Just such a clever play on words.

I had fun creating this card, using our masking paper to mask off the cardigans in the front, whilst I added th cardigans i the background. This is called masking.

I stamped our card above with Early Espresso ink onto a piece of Basic white cardd. I used our Blends alcoghol marker pens to add colour  but you could easily use watercolour pencils, ink or Stamp 'n Write marker pens as the images are fairly small.

Here is another variation:

You can see how these were made via this video: CLICK HERE

The set of pot plants would make a great New Home card, and is very easy to stamp and colour in. This was the first card I created with this stamp set, and I made it into a Thank You card, as you can see. I used the Go To Greetings stamp set for that stylish sentiment.

Not leaving out the typewriter, I used a double masking technique to create this card, using our newest masks, plus our masking tape. Here is a video showing you how I created this card:

As always here is a list of the main items I used in the projects above. You can click on any of the items to view them on my shopping website.

Fun week of cards featuring Apple Harvest stamp set

Recently, our featured #stampsetoftheweek was Apple Harvest from Stampin! Up!

I really enjoyed all the cards we made, and especially the addition of the co-ordinating Apple Blossom dies.

These dies are available ONLY during September 2022, or whilst stocks last. They can be ordered on their own or as part of a bundle with the stamp set - saving 10% off the total price.

We started with some simple designs which were also our featured design for coffee and card this week.

We then stepped these up as you can see below.

We added the dies to cut out the apples as you can see below, and I used one of our masks to create the background, just blending with a little ink and a blending brush. These masks come in a pack of five and are well worth checking out.

I then went on to use the dies on their own. There are some additional flowers (4) and leaves (9) dies which you can see used below. They don't match the stamp set (though there are other dies that cut the stamped images out), but they make a stunning design. You could make all sort of blossoms with these. You also get the stalk/stem die.

Click on the photo below to see how this card was made.

I used watercolour paper, ink and a water painter to create the colour for the leaves and flowers, and die cut them afterwards. I love the soft, natural look you get with this technique, rather than cutting just from coloured card. I used some pearls in the flower centres to finish off the card.

Breaking News! Fun stamp set for all occasions.

 Fun newspaper style stamp set.

This new little stamp set is just £21 and can be found on page 21 of our Annual Catalogue 2022-23. It features 10 stamps, including a newspaper front cover design.

As you can see the images include a cake, champagne glasses and a graduation scroll - but you can easily add other images that will fit. We used balloons, puffins, penguins, snowmen and even made a Christmas card!

I would recommend using the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool, as the newspaper image is quite large. It was our featured #stampsetoftheweek and we used it at coffee and card too.

Here is a photo of Michelle's set of 2 cards made in Brackley, at the Lounge Cafe Bar - I love the fun images she has added.

There are 3 videos on my You Tube channel featuring this stamp set. Here are two of them. You can find all my videos by using the You Tube link at the bottom of this post/page, don't forget to hit the SUBSCRIBE button t be kept informed of new projects.
