Our new Spring/Summer Catalogue is here

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

If you have arrived here from Suzette's blog then welcome.
It was very hard to choose an item for this Blog Hop as there are just so many lovely stamps, papers and project kits to choose from.

I chose a stamp set called 'Indescribable Gift' which as you can see from the photos above and below, features a beautiful blossom branch and some Easter greetings. This is one of those images that can be used for so many occasions, and is pefect for using watercolouring techniques. At just £14.95 in foam mount with 4 stamps, it's a great value set too!

I used our Watercolour paper to work on, stamping in Staz-On permanent ink, and then using our AquaPainters and ink, the colour was added to the blossom image. This is a great technique for beginners - the samples you see below were the 'practice images' done at my popular Coffee and Card session - most of the ladies attending are inexperienced crafters.

We also stamped the inside of our cards, and the envelope too. As you can see from the sample below done by Lynda, she had the brilliant idea to use her 'practice' image to decorate the inside of the card - genius! As always, we stamped the envelope too.

Thank you for joining me.

  1. Wow, love your cards! Michelle used this image with the Blendabilities, but it is also very nice with watercolouring.
