New SPIRAL Flower Die

Hello and welcome back to my BLOG.
Today's project is a gift envelope and card. I can't show you the card today as that is a feature of a future posting, but I do want to share with you a new product called the Spiral Flower Die.

It is a die that fits the Big Shot Die cutting machine which makes it really easy and quick to make flowers from any card or designer paper.

Here is my finished project:

The card is tucked into an envelope made with our Envelope Punch Board, and the gift packet underneath is a super sized envelope (8" x 8") which is wrapped around a gift for one of my direct downline who recently prromoted.  I decided I needed a finishing touch, so made the flowers to go on top.

Here they are in close up:

I made three flowers, using a square piece of paper for each one. For the leaves I used a piece of Wild Wasabi card, punched out a flower and wrapped it around the flowers as I created them. All you then need is some glue to hold the flowers together. What I like about this design is that you can make the flowers really tight like rosebuds, or you can put then together loosely for a different effect. If you want a small flower, you can just use part of the die cut.
